Categorize Tasks that are due today

Hi All:
I have Outlook 2003. Is there a way that I can have Outlook automatically
add a category to a task that is due today & then remove it when today
passes?

i.e. what I'm trying to accomplish is reduce the number of tasks that I see
in my PDA. It can show all active tasks, but can filter it to a single
category. (Then I don't have to look at all my overdue tasks while I'm
out.<g>)

Thank you in advance.

Phil

If you want to do that programatically, you would be better off asking in
the Outlook programming newsgroup.

To quickly but manually change a whole lot of Tasks' Category, select them,
right click, Categories, then set the Category. BTW: you can Ctrl Click to
select the ones you need or sort by Start or Due date.

Hi Judy:
While I was hoping for an "automatic" way, this will work fine. I can
select all tasks due today (since I have a customized view grouped by date)
& add the "today" category & just view those after syncing to my PDA. I
just have to remember to remove the category after I don't finish the task.
(I suppose if I was more organized, I wouldn't have so many unfinished
tasks.) <G>

Thank you so much!!
