I am have been assigning catergories to emails that come in for a few months.
Now, whenever I try to do this, I always get the error 'The Operation
Failed'. I have made no changes to anything, the emails coming in are from
the same people as before, I can send an email to myself and it still won't
work. I have searched the forums and other places but so far I haven't found
anything to help me.

Has anyone else had this problem and know a fix?

I'm using Office 2003 and emails are in html format with Word as the editor.

Have you applied all updates already?
Try running a repair of Office.

yes, run updats and done a fix but it is still doing it.
It appears it might be a server issue because if the server has a hard reset
the categories work again however if there is any kind of glitch or change or
anything at all then the category assignment stops again.
