Categories and Resources - OL 2007

When I book a meeting room resource and assign the appointment a category,
the category shows up in my calendar but not in that of the resource.

Is this by design in OL 2007 / Exchange 2007 ?

unfortunately, in OL07 meeting requests are sent without the category of the
appointment.

Michael, do you know if this is a fn of OL 2007 or Exchange 2007 ?
