Catching all internet activity on my network

I was wondering if XP Pro had a service in it that would allow me to capture
ALL intranet activity. I know that 2000 Adv. Server does have network
monitor, but since XP Pro isnt specifically a server I was wondering if it
had such a thing.

If it does could someone please tell me how to access it.

Thanks!!!
~Mike

To the best of my knowledge, XP Pro doesn't have a built-in network
capture / packet sniffer program.

Here's a free one that I use (thanks to Ron Lowe for pointing it out
to me):

Ethereal
http://www.ethereal.com/

I used it yesterday to find out why an ICS client computer was causing
the ICS host to dial into the Internet when the client started up.

You can install the full version of Network monitor on XP Pro, or install
any other sniffer,
such as Ethereal.

Another free one, which uses the same WinPcap packet capture software, but
has a more conventional Windows UI.

Where would I go about downloading the full version of network monitor?

Also, could someone send me a direct link to download Ethereal. I'd rather
not compile it. Just want to install it and sniff

Thanks all
