How to catch a Outlook events using Windows API calls?

Hi, could any one please give a insight of catching Outlook events using
Windows API calls? There are some events like (tree node expansion/collapse,
Search Start ) that are not supported in Outlook object model. I want to
catch those events and want to display message box. Is it possible?
