When I adjust the 3D setting slider and hit Apply or OK, then come back to
look, the slider has defaulted back to the Balanced setting.

Anyone?

are you checkmarking 'custom settings' first?

Yup, it doesn't matter what I change. When I go back to look, everything is
back to default.

I ran into the same exact problem using the cat 3.8. I could set a
setting and that setting would stay but if i went back to the panel
itself the settings were reverted back to the defaults.

The latest Omega driver suite, based on the Cat 3.8, addresses this
problem.
