Yes, I realize that Hydravision is for dual monitor support and Multview is
for dual tuners. I guess I should have specified that in my original post.
I have two monitors hooked up to the AIW 9600XT and I also have an ATI
Wonder Pro card. However, the stuttering is occuring without having
software installed for the ATI Wonder Pro card...so, I figured there is no
reason to complicate the post for nothing...sorry about that.
As for the "Unknown AVStream Source 1" message. I've tinkered with
computers for quite some time and usually consider any message that states
UNKNOWN to be a problem of some sort.
I'm really not at the stage yet where I've installed much of anything past
the installation of the ATI software and use Ghost to restore the partition
to the pre ATI software installation state. Hence, there is no way there
can be any remnents of ATI software. From experience, I know that there is
always some setting in the registry or some file left behind after an
uninstall of every type of software.
Thanks for the link to the install instructions....I originally installed
the software in sequence as listed on the download page....but I'll double
check to make sure.
Thanks for the info.
