Hi all

Just installed the Cat 3.8 drivers and got a desktop with about the same
speed as an arthritic slug on valium. Just restored back to 3.7 and all's
fine again - anyone got a possible solution to this problem (apart from
waiting for the Cat 3.9 drivers)?

Bill L

Sys spec/config
AMD XP1700+ TB(B) @ 2.2 GHz (10.5 x 200 1.55v)
Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro (Using on-board audio & NIC)
OCZ 512 MB DIMM PC3200
Sapphire 9700 (non-pro) (128MB)

GlobalWin 802 ATX Midi Case
Antec TruePower 330 Watt PSU

Primary IDE Channel
1 x 120 GB Maxtor ATA133 (Master)
1 x 40 GB IBM ATA66 (slave)

I had the problem, rerunning GART did nothing for me. Had to go back to
3.7's.

XP2400+
ATI 9500 Pro 128MB
512MB RAM

Ho hum Cat. 3.7's work fine I think I'll stick with these until the 3.9's
come out or perhaps take a chance with the Omega druvers ...

I had the same problem and changing to a lower resolution then back fixed it
(I might have had to reboot too, can't remember). The menus took like 5
seconds to generate, slowly increasing in steps of opaqueness.
