i have set up a music folder to show 'bit rate' column and i was hoping
there would be a way to cascade this setting to all folders inside without
having to set up each one

i'm sure this must be possible

i've noticed a choice to 'customize' for all folders except 'My Music'
folder?

Close all open windows then open My Music folder and make sure Bit Rate is checked
then go to
Tools - Folder options - View tab and click "Apply to all folders" > Click OK

Good Luck, Ayush.

wouldn't that apply it to all folders and not just the ones inside the music
folder?
