Carrying Over Additional Fields/Columns to Subtotal Rows

I have used the Filter and Subtotal functions on Excel and now my subtotal rows do not have any of the corresponding data associated with the detailed data. How can I add some of the column data in the subtotal row so that when I collapse the details I can still get the some of the adjacent columns copied to the newly added subtotal row?
