carriage return - double space problems

I can go into an email that I'm sending in outlook 2003 and temporarily set
it so that a carriage return is a single space, but I can't figure out how to
save that change or make it part of the normal template.

If you have a question, the best way to get it answered is to include complete information, especially your OUtlook version. Lacking that, anyone can hazard a guess but chances are it will not apply to your version.
