My mistake on this occasion. I assumed you were using a web based news
reader because so many of these mistakes are by those using that method.
That is why you do not see the buttons referred to in my post. However, the
point about replying to the thread or conversation still applies to someone
like yourself who is using Outlook Express as a news reader. To reply just
place the cursor on the last message in the thread or the particular message
you wish to reply to and select Reply to Group. Observance of this procedure
substantially improves the prospect that the intended recipient of your
message will actually read it.
In posting my original message I was endeavouring to help you, and others
who might read my message, to communicate more effectively. In no way am I
an administrator. I am just someone who is trying to make a positive
contribution. There are no administrators so far as I am aware posting to
any Microsoft newsgroups. The MVP's, I am not one, are not administrators.
