While you *should* be able to install those cards all together.. it is much
better to go one at a time.
If there is a problem when you boot up after install, you would not know
which was the cause of it....

Think: incremental changes = long lasting success. Big changes =
quick-failures.

I recently had a Thermaltake 7 fan die on me.... well... the fan didn't die.
The sensor telling it what speed to run at did. So it defaulted to '0'
rpms.

I replaced it with a much better Thermaltake 7+ for under $30.

Good luck,

What kind of IO card? A SCSI card, ATA controller, what?
If you want to use the IO controller, your video card, and the network
at the same time, then yes, you need all three installed at once. If
not, you need to determine if you need all these cards and the
functions they provide.

It sounds like the fan is giving out, but it could just be filthy and
not able to rotate freely since it's clogged with dust. Check it out
and try cleaning it if it's excessivle filthy. If the problem
persists, replace the fan or you'll likely fry the CPU.

What do you mean, you tried the power pack on another system? What
does that have to do with the CPU fan? The CPU fan has no power pack.
