Well, it took a while to get one, but in a few weeks we'll be the proud owners of a car Went for a 1.25 Fiesta with Climate Control in the end, so its not going to be giving a porsche a run for its money, but ideal for us.

Ironically, it worked out cheaper to get one brand new because of the insurance deals, and got a stonking deal on it (almost 1/3 off!!!). Got to wait 3 weeks to get it delivered now, but I can't wait. Bought a £120 Garmin i3 SatNav to go with it after reading some good reviews, so I'll post here what the unit is like once I've had a play.

Jam sandwiches for the next year I think

Nice one Ian! - sounds like you got a great deal there

Will be interesting to hear what you think of the Garmin - I've been thinking of getting SatNav for a while - but was looking at TomTom.

I have a TomTomGo 300

More expensive than the Garmin - we paid £330 from Maplin. But as long as a Sat Nav gets you from A to B your laughing!

You have to post pictures Ian! What colour is it btw?

i've used a TomTom go 300 and the Navigator 5 on my sisters iPaq and they are ok if you know roughly where you are going, i do like the look of the Garmin unit but after my experiences with the TomTom units i'm a bit skeptical about getting it

Yay!

It's silver - we had no choice unfortunately. We wanted metallic apple green, but settled on metallic red in the end because it would probably be easier to sell when it comes to it

Needless to say, we can't wait!!
