I've used MMM before, successfully. But just tried it recently and can't get it to capture from my web cam any more.

I click capture, and can get to the sceen where I select the file name and where to save the file. Once I hit "continue" I get the above error message.

I'm running on XP Pro, and Movie Make is version 5.x and I'd like to solve this without reinstall Windows. But...I don't know where to begin. I've searched here, I've searched the knowledge base, I've searched at Google. And cannot find anything of substance.

Anyone have any ideas? :-S

Thanks!

I found the answer to my problems. Several more searches and I found that installing Windows Media Player 9 Series would solve my problem. And it did. :-)

And for anyone interested, found a really neat forum over at:

http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/Forums/Default.aspx

All about Windows Movie Maker. :-)
