I apologize as I am not very technically competent. However, I have been
successful in capturing a video from a vcr but am unable to capture the
audio. My computer is using Realtek AC97 Audio to capture the audio.

Can anyone help me???

If your main goal is to make DVD copies
of your VHS home movies...you don't need
a computer. A DVD Recorder may be worth
a look.

Maybe the following links will give you an

I have already read all the links that you advised. I do want to edit the
video or I would have used the DVD recorder. I can capture the video no
sound.

I bought 2 hard ware items from CompUSA, kept the receipt, tested both,
returned one for my money withing the 14 days. It now works well with
capturing Audio also. This is a Flash page in the learning stage;
