Some people end up plugging the audio into their sound card inputs, with the
video into the Dazzle 80.... and capture fine that way.

> Hello to all. I am trying to capture video from a JVC analog camcorder
using a Dazzle DVC 80 capture device into Windows Movie Maker.

use the DVC 80 but that didn't work. I have tried all possible combinations
available too me but I still can't capture tha audio with the video.
> The DVC 80 came with "MovieStar" software and I can capture both the video
and audio portions and then import that project into MovieMaker and it deems
to work ok. I thought the MovieMaker would be more counterintuitive too use
than the DVC 80 software and more compatable with with my Windows XP home.

sure I'm going about this all wrong.

DVD or DVD+/-RW so I can share them with other family members.

am doing wrong? Also, the wife say's I can't spend anymore money on my
computer toys,so I have to use what I've got or find some freeware to do the
trick.
> As always, any and all advice is most welcome especialy since it took me 4
hours to learn how to capture 15 minutes worth of uasble video.

ATI Radeon 7000 video card w/64 MB of memory and a SoundBlaster Audigy/MP3

80 is a USB device. All updates have been applied to both the operating
system and I have both "Plus" and "Plus-digital media edition" installed as
well as "MovieMaker 2" . I would be glad to provide any additional
information that may be needed.
