I have received the message "Video device is currently in use" message when trying to capture analog video. I have read the messages in the user group and found that others have the same problem.

My capture card is capable of capturing at high resolution and has done so with other applications.

I have found that I don't get this message if I lower the resolution. I suggest that others lower the resolution of their ouput file and see if this resolves the problem.

My question: Why would MM2 have this problem if other applications do not?

How do I successfully capture at higher resolutions?

MM2 has this problem because it is designed to only capture at a lower
resolution. To capture at higher res you can often use the s/w that came
with the capture card..
