Should the capture time for WMM (Win XP system) equal the time required for
running the video in my JVC mini cam model GRD372U?

Well...it's VHS-C...right?

Seems to me the movie must play...while
it's being exported...so the answer is yes.

If your main goal is to make DVD copies
of your VHS home movies...you don't need
a computer. A DVD Recorder may be worth
a look.
