I have a Canon camcorder ZR45MC when trying to capture
the video it does a few seconds and the program stops
even though the camcorder still running? the time of
capture varies but never over 48 seconds

Are you capturing as DV-AVI? We had a similar problem when trying yo
capture at "Best for my computer". Switching to DV-AVI cleared the
problem up.
