Hi,

I'd like to capture the screen and perhaps regions or active Window etc
is possible) to GIF or JPG files from a freeware command line tool (in
unattended batch files). Of course if it can be scripted in VBSCRIPT
etc, I can do that also (with a few hints).

I've tried googling with no luck, VideoThief is mentioned as a solution
by some but that doesn't work from the command line even though its
description frequently says it does.

Thanks for any information,
Dennis Bareis

Hi,

For others looking for the same thing, I've found grab.exe, its does
the job but doesn't capture the mouse pointer and only captures
bitmaps.

Bye,
Dennis Bareis

That is the one thing you can't do with VBS, take a screen shot.
