Captions in Word 2007

      25th Jan 2009
When I place a caption on a picture and then move the picture to another
location, the caption does not move with it. It appears the caption does not
become attached to the picture. This implies that captions should only be
added after the document is completed the way you want it. Is this true? If
so, bummer!!

Even if this is the case, why not simply select both the picture and
its caption before moving it?

> Yep, good idea. Too bad though you have to do this. Perhaps you could "group" the picture and the caption before moving?

? When I insert a caption, it just becomes a paragraph above (or
below) the captioned item.

If it were just a paragraph, you wouldn't be able to Group it, as you
first suggested, but if it's a Text Box, you can, can't you?
