I have a few question re. caption labels: Where are these defined and
how can I change these?
As a preamble I should maybe add here that I have to write documents
in different languages - some docs in German, some in English.
When I right-click a figure and select "Caption..." to add a caption I
always get the German label for "Figure" (i.e. "Abbildung"), even if
the document is in English. And in the drop-down list I find both
language versions for all captions labels (e.g. "Figure" AND
"Abbildung", "Table" and "Tabelle", etc.). Isn't it possible to have
only those labels in this list that apply for the current text
language?
Another question: I prefer to have colons following the caption
number, e.g.:
... <some figure here>
Figure 1: <caption text here (note the colon following the number)>
However, the caption label does not include that colon and so when
writing a caption's text I always have to memorize that and to prefix
the text with ": ", i.e. <colon><space> first. Can't that be
automatized?
