      7th May 2008
I use vista home premium, my hard drive showed 16gb used space when I
installed all my programmes etc, but this figure keeps going up, it is now
20.5 gb and I havn't put anything extra in at all, can anyone explain this
please.

Perhaps due to additional restore points being created as time passes.

Since you keep using your system for new things, you constantly add temp,
cache, backup, restore, and data files. Most of this can be controlled by
using Disk Cleanup.

You might also want to Google (or use Live Search <G>) for shadow copies.
