Upgraded from ME to XP (home). Had Easy CD Creator v.4
on the old system. Uninstalled it after upgrading to XP
and took all other actions (regedit) I could find info
on, but still can't write a data CD through XP's writable
folder nor audio CD through Media Player although I can
make an audio CD with RealAudio. Any other suggestions
or help appreciated.

Tom

Right click your CDRW drive, click propertys , click the recording tab and
see if the box is checked that says enable CD recording on this drive.
Hope this helps
