Hello, I'll try to explain my situation the best I can. I have Excel 2003.
On the bottom of my sheet there is this task line ( I don't know how to
explain it in English) where you see for example if you have caps on or not
and on the left you see the word "ready". What my problem is that when I
select some numbers I see on that area of the program the word sum= and next
to it the sum of the numbers I selected. That sum changes depending on the
numbers I select. That is something I need and use. My problem is that I
can't see the whole sum-number next to the word sum= because there is not
enough space. so if I want to see the number 500.52 I only see 500 the .52
is written under the next box. How can I open the sum=500.52 box more so
that I can view the whole number.
I hope I made you understand, unfortunately my english isn't the best.
Thank you
Jimmy

Jimmy,

I think your english is just fine. I understood perfectly.

I don't know about adjusting the size of the sum box on the status bar, but
I did notice that the formatting of the number follows the formatting of the
cells that are selected. Are your cells formatted to show the decimal
portion of the number?

Carlos

Thank you for your answer Carlos.
Yes they are. I can see a bit of the decimal portion of the number but not
all of it.
Any idea?
