Hi There!

In Hotmail, for some reason when I recieve email with attachments they don't
display in the message body like before. This is just when I have pictures as
attachments. I get a red cross, I can open them up one at a time, but when
you have several it's a bit of a pain. Also, when I recieve a wmv file, I
have to save it first before it will let me open it, I know it's best anyway
to save it first, but I wondered why this is suddenly happening now too!

Please can you help, but not in this technical jargon. I am a novice.

Yes - I get the same problwm but with Yahoo Mail. I click on the
attachment - say a JPG photo - then click on Open rather than Save and I get
the message can't open file it is already being useed by another programme.
This has started to happen after one of the many XP upgrades. I guess that
its a security feature or flaw by design. CJB.
