Are either system running ICF? You gotta disable ICF on any LAN
connection with another system - ICF is only for protection on direct
connections to the internet..
Any other firewalls? Most third party firewalls can't be effectively
disabled, so you gotta either un install them, or configure them to
trust the other computer.
If that doesn't help, reply with ipconfig output from each system.
Start - Run - "ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt" - open c:\ipconfig.txt
in Notepad - copy and paste into your next post.
