can't view network computers

got a small network with some PC's on a mixture of 98, ME
and 2000 everything works fine. Put on a new PC with XP,
all of the old PC's can see the new computer with XP over
the network and access the hard drive and printers. But
the new PC with XP can't see any of the old computers.

Any ideas ?
