Hello,

We try to use remote desktop install some softwares for our branch office
new computer. (Windows XP Pro w/SP2)

1. We joined the domain then restart.
2. We installed ISA 2006 client, Mcafee Antivirus, Office 2003,... then
restart.
3. We went to Microsoft Update site to update windows, after compelete
update then restart.
4. We can't use remote desktop any more.

How can we fix this problem?

Thanks

McAfee is the cause of your problem. It blocks the access to this PC for the
Remote Desktop access. McAfee is assuming that if Remote Desktop is trying to
access this PC, you have been infected by a virus / spyware.

McAfee is not recommended for any "office" set ups and also should not be ever
considered for any Windows PC. Too dammed large; Too dammed resource hog;
Too much trying to control your PCs even ignoring your configurations.

Hello,

Thanks for reply.

But we have 4 PCs in this office, the other 3 PCs didn't have this problem.
The other 3 PCs have same software, but didn't have the newest update.

Thanks

For the troubleshooting, start the computer with clean boot. Can you access
it remotely now?
