I can't use my CD drive

My computer is not reading my CD Drive. I went to the
device manager and the following error was posted in the
CD drivers
Windows cannot start this hardware device because its
configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete
or damaged. (Code 19)

I uninstalled the drivers, and installed them again and
didn't solve the problem.

Any advice?
