I'm using Windows XP and I need to go to explore my files or my computer.
When I click on either of them my computer freezes. If I click on other
icons on my desktop they work fine but right click the start key to get to
explore, or click on My Computer and it just hangs there forever. Please help

You probably have some damaged system files. Depending on your system type,
there are several easy ways to fix that. Read this excellent article on ways
you might have available.

Remove all CD's, DVD's and 3.5" floppy disks from all drives then try again. If it
still freezes, remove all USB devices (cameras, hubs, external hard drives, flash
drives, etc.) ten try it again. If nothing here helps, your problem may be with
corrupted system files or possibly a malware infection. Try a 'System Restore' back
to a date when everything was running.

In addition, run a full virus scan.

Good luck
