Can't use Adobe Reader after auto update

When I try to open Adobe 6.2 or 7.0 or a PDF the Windows Installer opens and
tries to install Microsoft Office Standard Editiion 2003. I don't have Office
2003 (still using Office 2000). I believe this started after an automatic
online update was installed.

Dump Adobe and get Foxit Reader.
