I am getting this error but only on 1 file - a zip file. I can upload any other
file (html, txt, zip, pdf) with no problem.

406 Not Acceptable
Not Acceptable An appropriate representation of the requested resource
/_vti_bin/_vti_aut/author.exe could not be found on this server.

What can I do to fix this one?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the FP Extensions several times with no change
in the results.

Thank you

Check with your host, make sure they have .zip files as an acceptable file
type.

There may be several reasons including:

1) Your host doesn't allow the upload component to be used.
2) The file is over 1meg in size.
3) The server extensions are not configured correctly for using the upload
component.
4) Zip file(s) have to be an *acceptable* file type for being uploaded.

You've said you can upload html, txt zip and pdf; but then say the problem
*is* with the zip file.

Either the host doesn't allow zip files to be uploaded after all, (but
apparently you can do this) or it is over the 1mb limit which would be the
more likely answer.

I think you can change the "MIME" types in your host control panel which I
think has to do with what file formats you can upload (I may be wrong....).
Whether that has any relevance to the FP upload feature I don't know, it may
be just for the general server side uploading scripts available.

Thanks for the thoughts. I can publish any other zip file with this one
exception and this one file is only 510kb.

Thanks
