When I was tring to upgrade a client's computer today,
the installation failed. I am going from XP Home to XP
Pro . It said that NVIDIA AGP Filter is not Compatible
with Win XP Pro. This is a win XP Home SP1. Has anyone
had this same problem with upgrading home to pro
The computer is a HP 534x that is design for Windows xp
To my knowledge there has been no hardware upgrades.

Thank You
Mark

Install XP pro cd,boot to cd,install pro,or go to reco-
very,type:FORMAT C: /FS:ntfs
After its thru, type:EXIT Then install xp pro
The later probably is the best bet since you'll get xp
on a clean hd deleting home.

This is a small Bank, They have so much stuff on this
computer. I will love to do a clean install but they
rather upgrade.

I upgraded from home tp pro and received a vid card driver
error about it not being digitally signed by MS. The
installation still went through. Now I am getting a
permission problem. Even with admin account I cann access
certain areas or install programs. Any ideas?
