Can't upgrade to xp

I have been previously using Windows XP. and as of today
my system will automatically shut down. It may be from
that virus that has been going around. My only option was
to remove XP and restore Win98. When I go to reload XP it
sends me a report(block) to remove "MS shared fax client".
I have looked everywhere within my system and can not find
it. Does anyone have any suggestions on where that can be
found so i can continue with XP download.
