I did exactly that and thought I had it beat but although
I now have drivers in place and my card is in Device
Manager and working (I've got sound!), I can't get the
rest of the software installed to take advantage of the
card and my live drive. I still get the same message when
I try to open EAX consol (no soundblaster detected) and
Audigy 2 software in add and remove still comes up with
an error about invoking subscribers. Thanks for your time
though. I appreciate it...
