cant uninstall antivirus software

Please Help!!! I have f-secure antivirus 2006 and I can't remove it thru
add&remove in control panel. When I click on uninstall the hourglass comes on
and acts like it is going to work then goes back to the add and remove screen
with nothing changed. The same happens in the programs own uninstall that
came with the software. Where do I go from here? I can't disable the
firewall that came with it either and that has me running 2 firewalls.
