I have copied a .mov in to a presentation. I need to delete the sound. Have
tried to go to Slide Show then 'set up show' then choose 'show without
narration'. Sound stays in the video when I play the presentation.

Other help topic said click the sound icon (I assume in the startup tray as
I can't find a sound icon in ppt.) then hit delete. This doesn't do anything
either.

Help?

Is the audio part of the movie? If so, there won't be a speaker icon
(indicating a sound file) for you to delete.

Thanks for replying John.
I guess so. Sequence is this;
1 Made video with digital camera. Audio is captured by digital camera
real time
2 imported via usb on to hard drive
3 It is saved as an .mpg Sorry for the earlier info
4 Brought in to PPT presentation on a blank slide.

Don't really think I have an option at an early stage to 'not' import the
audio from the camera or during the 'save' process.
