The tab key functions in the 'add new task' row, but won't function in any of
the existing tasks.

Once you turn on Allow in cell editing, it will work. Right click the grey
column header | Customise Current View | Other Settings - tick the box for
in cell editing.

The "Allow in cell editing" was already turned on? I imported a Outlook 2003
pst file - do you think this has affected the fanction?
