I'm trying to use offline files on some new Dell laptops so our employees can
use their my docs, desktop, and some network files when they are out of the
office. I followed MS directions and made the files available offline and
sychronized them. When I log out and log back in again, those files are not
marked available offline with the double arrow icon. So of course, they are
not there when I disconnect from the network either. It works on some of our
laptops, but not all of them. It even fails if I log in to a new laptop as
someone who already has a laptop that works correctly. We are using XP Pro,
roaming profiles, and folder redirection on the server. I really could use
someone's help.
