Can't sum FP form results in Excel

I have a form that, when users submit, are sent to my email. I copy them into
an Excel sheet and do a text to column command to separate the 'question'
from the resulting '1' if that question is selected (Yes). Everything shows
up fine, except that I can't perform any SUM, COUNT or other formulas on that
column of 1's. The Format/Cell shows that it is a "General" entry, which I
should be able to perform a formula on. Instead, my formula cell always gives
a "0" result.

I've already had more than 200 responses to my form in my FP site, and now I
can't perform any formulas because the resulting "1" cells don't respond.

Thanks

Not a FP issue
But your 1's are obviously text not numbers
- in the cells probably as: '1
- not as: 1
Select the column and
Edit replace all '
Replace with nothing

Stefan
I tried that but was told that there was nothing ("'") to replace.

Interestingly, my FrontPage form data from a few months ago transferred into
Excel just fine and I was able to SUM, COUNT, etc. the data. Now, with more
recent data, I try to sum a row or column and the results are always ZERO.
