Cant Stop System Idle Process

's Computer Specifications

Greetings...can anyone help me ? My System Idle Process
is constantly running my CPU and HD at 99%, it has never
done this before ... any suggestions ? Thanks !

Hi, Ted.

Why do you think this is a problem? Whenever your computer is running, it
HAS to be doing SOMETHING! Just like your car engine, even when it is out
of gear and just idling. If your System Idle Process is at 99%, then your
computer is just sitting there wishing you'd give it something to do. When
it has nothing better to do, it runs the idle process to soak up the unused
horsepower.
