If I understand you, your not getting past the bios screen?? If your
Emergency Boot disks don't work, then I would assume that. First thing I
would do is pop the case, and check all connections, cards, ram, make sure
everything is in tight.
Find yourself a dos boot disk to try for now. Your more interested in the
machine running then windows 2k at this point.
If that don't work, remove all cards but your video card. If that don't work
and you have more then one stick of ram, you could try using one and try
booting, then switch the other(s).
Then try unhooking your cd-roms, then the hard drive. Get your machine down
to minimum hardware. The thought is to eliminate any other cause hopefully
will lead you to the reason.
If you can get the bios to boot and start off of a boot disk, start hooking
things up and hopefully you will find what is wrong.
