Please Help!
I just did the ie7 auto-install on my desktop. Now XP Pro sp2 will not
re-start.
After the install on re-start I got the Win screen: "We apologize for the
inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully" with all the start-up
choices.
"Start Normally" and "Last Known Good Configuration" don't work - it just
reboots and loops back to the same screen. It will not go into "Safe
Mode" -- it just lists a bunch of drivers then reboots.
I can get into Advanced Start Up and Windows Recovery Console and log on as
Administrator but don't have a clue what to do there to fix the boot problem.
How big is this problem?
I would greatly appreciate any help in getting my system functional again.
