Hi, i keep getting the following error message and cant log on, does anybody
know what i need to do to corect please?

the extension configuration file"c:\program files\microsoft
office\office\addins\fldpub.ecf" could not be installed. there is an error in
the syntax or format of the file

Try starting Outlook in Safe Mode (Start -> Run -> type "outlook /safe"
[without the parenthesis]), then go to the Add-in Manager and remove the
offending add-in.

Go To start Run and type Outlook /safe
once it is open then close and open normally
to to tools and trust centrre and disable all the addins

Hi, thanks for this but its still the same, and whan i press ok i get this
message
cannot start Microsoft office outlook. Unable to open the outlook window.
The set folder could not be opened

I can open Outlook, but I am getting the same error message about fldpub.ecf.
This has been happening for about 10 days. I went to the Add-ins and
disabled everything except my Virus protection program (Kaspersky). How do I
correct this problem? I have never used the Net Sharing add-in that it is
connected to, can I just find and delete the file?

I am having same problem for three days now. Cannot start in safe mode I get
same error message. Unable to access all my address and calender info. Quite
serious.
