I ran a spyware scanning program that told me to delete a reg key! Stupid as
I was I forgot the first rule of tinckering! Back it up! Now i can't launch
IE! I always receive an error message saying ie has to shut down! Can anyone
tell me how to restore the registry!

Look in your error log and post what type of error you are
having. You are not giving alot of informaiton to work
with here...

Perhaps you should not be an admin...

Which spyscanner did you use? there should be a restore function within
that? Failing that, just re-install IE and that should recover itself.

It's impossible to restore.I recommend to reinstall windows.Trying to
restore the registry is very risky and every one can bring more damage to
the sytem.
