Why can't I share my scanner (HPscanjet 5470C)? I am
using MS XP Professional on two machines and they are
networked. I have no problem sharing printers from both
machines. All knowledge base replies I have found state
that you cannot share scanners on XP. Any suggestions or
help will be appreciated.

You can use Remote Scan to share a scanner from your networked computer.
