Hi there,

At my work I have two computers on my desk, one desktop pc with Pentium 4
256MB ram, has a network card and a wireless Dlink DWL-G122 USB adapter. I
have a Macintosh Powerbook with airport built in. How, my ideal setup will
be able to connect the network cable to my PC desktop and share the internet
connection to my Mac. I don't really know how to do that so I try to
connect the cable to my Mac and share the internet connect to my PC. I got
that working once, but after I reboot the system the internet sharing is
gone again, but my pc shows that it's connecting to my Mac, the wireless
mode is Infrastructure, and when I ping my mac, it's pingable. But I can't
browse the internet. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Also, how do I setup that I connect to the internet with my pc and share the
connection to my mac? Thanks a lot.

Shan

Shan, make your life easier and buy a cable/dsl router with wireless
capabilities. You can get a Linksys, Netgear, Belkin for not very much
money. Then you can connect the cable/dsl modem to the router and the
router via ethernet to your desktop. The Powerbook will have no
problems using the wireless connection coming from the router. Then you
won't need to worry about cross-platform ICS and you won't need to have
the desktop turned on when you want to use the laptop.
