Use the settings described here,

http://bigpond.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/...isplay=content

They are for Outlook Express, WM settings are exactly the same.

Re (1) Contact folders (2) Searching for messages
I am new to Vista Windows Mail. I just imported my contacts from Windows
2000 and categorized them all into several contact folders.

(1) However - upon addressing either new or forwarding messages - the list
of contacts in the contacts window that opens does not list the folders I
created. (Outlook Express did not list them either)

Questions: Is it possible to list the contact folders? Why have to scroll
thru the entire list of contacts after having put them into separate folders
in order to locate individuals more easily? What's the purpose of
making/viewing Contact folders in a Windows Explorer window if they cannot
be seen in the process of addressing email?

(2) Searching for Newsgroup letters in Outlook Express was easy on the Edit
Menu - subtitle for messages in this folder etc - It's gone in Vista & I
cannot find a subject or thread - hardly at all. What am I doing wrong? Or
maybe it's not just me? Something that Microsoft missed?

Please advise

Thanks - Blithe
